Magic City Collectibles is a fast-growing sports card and trading card game (TCG) shop located in Homewood, Alabama. We specialize in buying, selling, and trading Pokmon cards, sports cards, and other collectibles through both our retail storefront and online platforms. In addition to daily sales, we host community events, live-stream card breaks, and actively engage with a growing audience across social media. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team. This is a paid internship with the opportunity for class credit if needed, ideal for students pursuing degrees in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Responsibilities: Assist in planning and executing social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) Create engaging content including posts, reels, product features, and promotional materials Support digital marketing efforts, including promotions, campaigns, and email marketing Monitor and respond to customer service emails and inquiries in a professional and timely manner Help resolve customer issues and ensure a positive customer experience online Interact with customers in-store, providing excellent customer service and product knowledge Assist with organizing and promoting in-store events, trade nights, and special releases Contribute ideas to grow brand awareness and strengthen community engagement Assist with general business operations and day-to-day tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field Familiarity with social media platforms and trends Experience with content creation tools such as Canva Strong written and verbal communication skills Creative mindset with attention to detail Interest in trading cards, collectibles, or hobby-based communities is a plus This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a growing retail and e-commerce business, build your portfolio, and play a direct role in shaping our brand, customer experience, and community presence.
